SPEAKERS Steve Beltz has been involved in computer forensics and network security for 12 years and is currently Director of Cyber Initiatives for Paradigm Solutions Corporation. He manages several programs that provide comprehensive on-site network security and computer forensic operations support to the U.S. Department of State (DoS) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Prior to Paradigm, Mr. Beltz spent 16 years in law enforcement, 12 of those years as a detective with the Washington State Patrol to include supervising the Computer Crimes Unit and Criminal Intelligence Unit. Mr. Beltz has taught computer forensics classes for several universities as well as state, county, city and federal law enforcement agencies. Mr. Neal Lawson, a managing director and co-founder of Washington, DC based Intelligent Discovery Solutions, Inc ("iDS"), is a nationally recognized leader in electronic discovery advisory and information lifecycle consulting services with over 15 years of experience in the technology and litigation industries. Mr. Lawson specializes in the implementation and procedural analysis of complex systems as well as application development, data analysis, document retention services, computer imagery and electronic discovery within complex commercial litigations. As both a technical implementation consultant and project manager, Mr. Lawson has led global technical projects and investigations involving highly complex data sets and enterprise systems.
